Geo-thermal is defiantly the way to go. I know of a couple people who are off the grid completely utilizing Geo-thermal for heating in the winter and cooling in the summer and solar panels on the roof and a small windmill to power everything else.

Very Nice video. It perfectly defines the process of Geothermal Plant. The process of harnessing energy from geothermal activity is fairly simple, yet this depends on how you wish to make the geothermal energy work for you. The two main types of geothermal power come from the center of the earth, and the sun.
