The Challenge
The 2010 American Solar Challenge (ASC2010) is a competition to design, build, and drive solar-powered cars in a cross-country time/distance rally event. Teams compete in a 1100 mile drive from Tulsa to Chicago. The route has been chosen to combine pieces of old routes used in previous events, giving a bit of an historical tribute for the 20 years of organized events in North America.
2010 Registration
Registration
If your team is planning to participate in 2010, we invite you to begin the registration process by completing the Team Entry Form and submitting to Cheryl Williams, Team Coordinator, at
Teams2010@gmail.com. This form will provide us with your current contact information, indicate the events you intend to participate, and begin the process of claiming team numbers. Per regulation 3.10.A: “Teams which participated in NASC 2008 may have priority for retaining their 2008 car number. Car numbers will be confirmed as teams complete registration paperwork and submit entry fees.”

We are in the process of establishing a non-profit organization to handle the finances of the event. Thus, we are unable to accept entry fees until the filing of that paperwork is complete, which will hopefully occur within the next month or so. More information will be forthcoming at that time.
