Question Hello from Texas

I'm exploring options for building an electric vehicle from an old Ford Ranger PU truck. I think I should be able to charge the batteries while towing behind an RV, then drive it for free. Anyone have knowledge of such an arrangement?

Hey Fred, I'm from Texas also. Just north of Dallas. Welcome to the forums. Converting small pickups is really the easiest of all EV conversions, because their chassis handle the added weight better, and the batteries can be placed either under the bed, inside of the bed, or a combination of the two. You should start a thread in this forum when you are ready to start gathering information for your build.
