Default Vensys 1.2 Mw

Hello there

does anyone know where I might be able to source parts for a Vensys 1.2 Mw wind turbine?
Has anyone had problems in getting parts for a turbine and is it feasible to fabricate parts yourself?
I can get blades in China so that is one less thing to worry about

it appears that the pitch system will fail at some time during the life of the turbine. at least we know. forewarned is forearmed

in addition, the nacelle is designed in such a way that it allows little birdies to build their nests deep inside the guts of the turbine leading to endless fun and games

Vensys are not supporting the turbine in any way, shape or form by the way.
This is not slander, I can show you the emails

Hello hythorn,

After a intensive search I found nothing I am sorry to say. I find it odd that the manufacture would not support there products with any replacement parts. Sure would make me think twice.

I will keep looking and asking and if I find anything I will defiantly keep you posted. Hopefully another member may have some advice to share.

it is a worry. So far I have spoken to several companies in Germany who do not have any parts. I have spoken to some very nice Canadians who have several 1.2s but cannot get parts. Vensys will not even sell them a dongel so that they can look inside the machine to see how it is running.

In the worst case, I have a friend who runs a factory in China and can replicate more or less anything and he uses Japanese and German steel

fortunately I know what is likely to go wrong with the units in advance and am setting up a world wide network of disgruntled Vensys owners to share information
